This fabric is the default standard for classic heavyweight cotton t-shirts. It's the one that's been around for a long time that you've likely worn time and time again. Made from durable heavyweight 6 oz. 100% cotton material, this fabric is comfortable and made to last. It's pre-washed to minimize shrinkage, however, some shrinkage does still occur so plan accordingly.

  • 6 oz. fabric
  • Some colors require blending: 
    • Ash Grey: 99/1 cotton/polyester
    • Heather Grey 90/10 cotton/polyester
    • Other heather colors: 50/50 cotton/polyester
  • Double needle 7/8" collar

We ship orders M-F, except for major holidays. We do not ship orders on Saturday or Sunday.  Our cut-off time for same day shipping is 1:00 PM PST.  Any orders received after 1:00 PM will ship on the following business day. 

Most items ship within 1-2 business days. Unless otherwise noted, all shipments will be shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). USPS shipments have both tracking information and delivery confirmation.  

Most shipments within the USA arrive in 3-10 business days. 

International shipments typically arrive in 12-24 business days.

Any unworn items can be returned/exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

Blast from the Past

In the late 60's, I surfed for the Dewey Weber Gulf Coast team with BJ's Surf Shop in Houston, TX. The board they gave me was a 9'4" Performer with the nose and fin a matching military green. It was a short board, for the time. I loved the thing, and the Story of Boards t-shirt BEGINS with the Performer. I like the natural (not white) color of the shirt, pleased in all ways. Thank You.

Hi I ordered 3 XL T-shirts and was totally disappointed when I got them. I have purchased a lot of T-shirts here and have always been pleased, lately the shirts have changed a lot in the size and especially the sleeves, they are to short. I don’t know why the change but they are not the same quality.
